Lu120819 is LUTERION's lead investigational therapeutic platform. The candidate is being developed to modulate mitochondrial and immune-metabolic responses under pathological stress.

Lu120819 is a chemically defined liquid formulation of a single isolated active — Luterion™ nanoparticles — with two functional excipients. It is a discrete, purified entity manufactured to a defined specification.

LUTERION's scientific strategy is based on the biological connection between mitochondrial dysfunction, maladaptive immune signaling, and impaired recovery after cellular or tissue injury.

Characterization & Quality

A defined, fully characterized nanoparticle

Lu120819 is a monodisperse aqueous nanoparticle suspension manufactured and released to a defined specification. Every batch is characterized for identity, particle size and distribution, particle concentration, chemical purity, and microbiological quality.

Analytical control relies on orthogonal, validated methods — microfluidic resistive pulse sensing for particle metrics, RP-HPLC for active assay, and high-resolution LC-MS/MS (QTOF) for purity — following European Pharmacopoeia procedures where applicable.
